Instructions for Submitting Camera-Ready Papers
IMPORTANT! Please note that due to the fact that
proceedings are
published in ACM DL, camera-ready versions have to comply with ACM
guidelines as mentioned below.
Please submit camera-ready copy (produced on a
high-resolution
output device) of your manuscript on 8 1/2" x 11" paper following the
proceedings format appended below. Proceedings templates to create
camera-ready copy are available in Word, WordPerfect, and LaTex. These
templates are located at: http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates.
(Choose Option 2 for LaTeX.)
Camera-ready versions are to be uploaded to ICST’s Conference Management
Center (CMC), in PDF format, observing these points:
- Authors of accepted papers will receive a
notification e-mail with login details. If multiple accounts have been
created for the same paper, please make sure that there will be only
one copy uploaded.
- Once logged in, select the
conference/workshop you wish to upload a camera-ready paper for. The
upload procedure consists of three steps:
- Fill out ALL information for your paper (title,
abstract, and keywords);
- Then
include all co-authors of your paper (first name, last name,
affiliation and email address) and please be sure to double-check for
errors before submission;
- Upload your camera-ready (PDF is the only
supported file format).
- Papers must be 8 pages maximum, including all figures,
tables and references.
- Remember to make sure that the copyright box on the
first page of your paper is updated with this information:
- Conference name: SecureComm2008,
AlPACa Workshop,
September 22, 2008, Istanbul, Turkey
- Copyright © 2008 ACM ISBN #
978-1-60558-241-2.
- In addition, ACM requires
- all fonts MUST be embedded within the PDF file
(this requirement is crucial)
- the PDF file should have thumbnails and should be
optimized for fast web viewing
- The deadline for uploading camera-ready papers and
submitting copyright forms is August 22, 2008.
If you have not fulfilled every requirement, your paper will not be
included in the final proceedings. For this reason, we kindly encourage
to accomplish every requirement (including registration) before this
date, in order to give us the time to check up on details in case
additional refinements are required. Please kindly meet this deadline.
Copyright Form
Authors of accepted papers are required to fill out the ACM copyright
form.
ACM will not publish any paper that is not accompanied by a signed
copyright form. In those cases where there is more than one author per
paper, the first-named (assumed senior) author only must sign.
Completed copyright forms are to be faxed or e-mailed to
ICST no later than August 22, 2008.
Please note, that AT LEAST 1 AUTHOR for each
accepted paper must register at full (i.e. non-student) rate in
order for the paper to be included at the workshop and on the
Proceedings CD.
